Fond memories of Claire. We worked together at Bartiikowsky Jewelers for a while. I impressed her by reciting a Robert Frost poem by memory. My condolences.

Dear Barbara, Bill, and all the Lopatto family,
My deepest condolences to all of you. Your sister Claire was a wonderful person, a loyal friend, a wonderful colleague, and a kind and compassionate person. I worked with her at Stockton University, so I had a chance to observe her `up close and personal.´ She never failed to help me when I requested help, to offer an encouraging word when I was at my wits end, and to make me laugh when I needed a good laugh. She wrote your mother´s story of being a US Navy nurse during WWII, and both she and her dear mother were so proud of the book - and so were so many of us who were her colleagues and friends. Rest in God´s merciful peace, dear Claire. You ran the race, and now you are home. We shall pray for you. Don´t forget to pray for us.
