Steven Archer, 67, of Moline, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 12:00p.m. – 3:00p.m. at Pinnacle Country Club, Milan, IL with a time of sharing stories at 2:30p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a memorial to be placed at Riverside Park, Moline in Steve's name.

Steve was born May 10, 1956, in Moline, the son of Homer and Dorothy (Covents) Archer. He married Marlene Johnson on October 31, 1981, in Moline. She preceded in death on February 13, 2000. He married Susan Thompson on June 3, 2006, in Rock Island.

Steve was the Owner/Operator of Archer Insurance Agency, Moline.

Steve enjoyed listening to music, yard work, pickle ball and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Susie; children: Amanda Archer, Carbon Cliff, IL, Christopher Archer (Katie Ollie), Jacksonville, FL, Dylan (Sara) Cross, Moline, Brittney (Rick) Siam, Moline, Brooke (Chris) Banker, Moline and Alan (Sara) Cross, Iowa City, IA; grandchildren: Sterling and Forrest Archer, Augie, Remy and Sunny Cross, Ava and Connor Cross and Carver and Kayden Banker; sister, Sharon (Kevin) Meredith, Spring Hill, TN; and brother, Scott Archer, Coal Valley. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren: Fitz and Leland Cross; parents; and brother, Randy Archer.
