Carol R. Leuth, 85, of Bettendorf, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Fountains in Bettendorf.

There will be no services and inurnment along with her husband, Ronald will be in Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire.

Carol was born July 25, 1940, in Moline, the daughter of Fred & Rose (Howell) Herdt. She was united in marriage to Ronald G. Leuth on July 29, 1960, at First Presbyterian Church in LeClaire. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2023.

Carol was retired as a sales associate with Younkers in Davenport. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and the company of her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor to her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Monica & William Holst of Davenport; her son and daughter-in-law, Eric & Tracy Leuth of Rock Island; her granddaughters, Jessica (Cory) Molacek and Kayla Holst; her great-grandsons, Calvin and Benson Molacek; and her sister, Joan Kerner of Chadron, Neb.

In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Fred Herdt, Jr., John Herdt and Martha Herdt.
