My condolences to the family.
As I read the obituary many fond memories revisited me.
Seeing her in her front yard pulling weeds and tending her variety of flowers just before she moved from her CV home.
Then also, as a teenager her pruning the beautiful roses in the boulevard's in the Main Street in front of her brand new home in Rose Wood subdivision in CV. The roses are gone. The boulevards are gone. The house still stands and now a different Gardner is tending new flower beds.
Her many services she performed in CV were not over looked either. As was her husband´s many volunteer hours to CV.
I miss seeing her in her flower garden. Rest well.
Clark Miner.

What a long fulfilling and active life she lived. I am not surprised because I worked with her at Black Hawk College and saw her dedication to her job. I have good memories of Lou and feel blessed to have known her. Sending prayers and thoughts of sympathy to the family.
