THOMAS OUSKY 09/09/1960 - 08/18/2025 Thomas Ousky, 64, of Belview passed from this life on Monday, August 18, 2025, with his wife, Jill, at his side. Funeral services were on Friday, August 22 at 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Belview with Pastor Pari Bailey officiating. Burial was at Belview City Cemetery. Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church on Friday. Arrangements were by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service of Olivia. Thomas Alan Ousky was born on September 9, 1960, in Redwood Falls Hospital to Norman Joseph and Brenda Jean (Fixsen) Ousky. He was baptized and confirmed in Holy Name Catholic Church in Vesta. He graduated from Belview High School in 1979. Tom married the love of his life, Jill Degner, on April 24, 1982. To this union, a son was born, Thomas Norman Ousky. Tom's family was the most important to him. He was proud of Tommy and Jill brought so much joy to his life. Time spent with his siblings and extended family was very special to him. Many memories were made on annual trips to Sturgis Rally and during snowmobiling trips and holiday gatherings, as well as camping with four generations of his family. To Tom, you did not have to be related to be considered family. He had many close friends that were his chosen family. If you received a nickname from Tom, you should consider yourself special. He had a love for anything with a motor - motorcycling, snowmobiling, sprint car races, and restoring cars and pickups. Tom enjoyed being outdoors fishing, having campfires, and especially farming. He served his community on the Belview Volunteer Fire Department, retiring after 20 years. Tom never failed to put a smile on people's faces, through his great sense of humor and imitations of his friends and family. Tom is survived by his wife, Jill; his son, Thomas "Tommy" and granddog, Cash; his parents, Norman and Brenda Ousky; his sisters: Theresa (Ron) Gilland, Jolene (Chuck) Steffl, and Deborah (Pat) Johnson; his brother, Jeff Ousky (Stacey Helmer); his brother-in-law, Roger Degner; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his father-and mother-in-law, Ron and Yvonne Degner. Blessed be his memory.
