Anna Longo Obituary

Anna C. Longo
Anna C. Longo, 90, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with COPD. Born on April 18, 1935, in Waterbury, CT, to William Sr. and Anna Morrissey, she was a devoted mother who loved cooking, traveling, and above all, spending time with her family. Those who knew her remember her fierce courage and strength, and her love of laughter.
She leaves behind her children: Ernie Plourde and his wife Sandra, Irish Romano and her husband Russell, Pamela Dominello and her husband Matthew, Angel Bruno and her fiancé Jeremy, and Art Longo and his wife Amanda, along with Ann Marie Plourde, wife of her late son Shane. Her legacy continues through 51 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her sisters Joan M'Sadoques and her husband Robert, Mary Stephens and her husband Jack, and Shirley Woodruff; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and their families.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, William Sr. and Anna (Nagle) Morrissey; her husband, Arthur Longo; her beloved son, Shane Plourde; grandsons Craig Dauksis and Matthew Dominello III and her siblings, Peggy Benedict, William Morrissey Jr., and Frank Morrissey.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held on June 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Water Oak Clubhouse in Lady Lake, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice or a charity of your choice in her honor.
Anna's love, laughter, and indomitable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
