Rose Obman Obituary

Rose Marie Obman
"Loving mother, grandmother & sister"
Rose Marie (Sabia) Obman, 87, of Naugatuck, entered into the gates of Heaven on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was the loving widow of Richard T. Obman Sr. who predeceased her in 2001.
Rose was born on May 25, 1938 in Stamford, CT, daughter of the late Dominic and Gertrude (Zaccagino) Sabia. She was a graduate of Stamford High School. Rose dedicated her life to her family and home. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming environment, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. Her life journey later took her across the country to Mesa, Arizona, where she lived for 10 years, embracing the desert and sunshine. She then returned to Connecticut, spending time in Southbury and later making her home in Waterbury.
Rose is survived by her devoted son, Richard T. Obman Jr. of Waterbury, CT, her cherished granddaughter, Nicole (Steven) Mascheri of Terryville, CT and her sister, Joann Monick of Greenwich, CT.
Arrangements: All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury has been entrusted with Rose's services.
