David Scott Johnson age, 62 of Cameron, Wisconsin passed on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Mayo Health Systems - Red Cedar in Menomonie, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on July 24, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Steve and Theresa (Justice) Johnson. He attended school in Minnesota and Illinois. After graduation he attended College at the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC). He also was enlisted in the United States military and later honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Debbie on September 18, 1999.
David loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved playing poker and trivia. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a die-hard Twins and Vikings Fan and was known for his quick-witted responses. He was an avid animal lover, especially his service dog, Hunter.
David is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Debbie; Children, Kristina (Bill) Chappell; James (Amanda) Slattery; 2 grandchildren, Natalie and Griffin; his loving companion, Hunter; Siblings, Steve, Lori, Al, Alex, Cindy as well as other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Wayside Cemetery in Barron, Wisconsin and there will be a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
