William McFadden Obituary
William lived a life devoted to his faith and family.
Known affectionately as "Bill", he was a hardworking and skilled printer repair technician at AB Dick.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Marlene McFadden, and his children: Timothy McFadden (Michelle Woods), Marie (Tom) Neff and William (Victoria) McFadden, grandchildren Tom (Katie) Neff, Rebecca Neff, Julia Woods, Anna, Sofia, Michael and Lisa McFadden, along with many friends and family members, including siblings and in-laws Evelyn (Al) Farley, Mary (Glenn) Houk, John (Anita) McFadden, Beth McFadden and Mike Huryn whose lives he touched with kindness and wisdom.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brother Robert McFadden and sister Eileen Huryn.
Bill served proudly in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He loved to fish and play horse shoes and shooting pool.
William's family will receive friends October 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Dunn Quigley Funeral Home 511 Grant St. Akron, OH. A Mass in his honor will take place on October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM in St. Mary Catholic Church. Bill will be laid to rest in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military honors will be presented at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman, OH 44273

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Justin T. Rogers Hospice or Ohio Right to Life if so desired.

Bill and I were two peas in a pod after I married his sister Mary. We played cards, horseshoes, pool and fished together for over 60 years. I will always remember Mr. McFadden sitting on the porch having a beer with my dad and teaching the dog to get that last sip from the bottle. He was a great friend to my parents, and I grew up knowing both of you would be there whenever we needed you...and you always were.

To Aunt Marlene and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Uncle Bill and Aunt Marlene are my Godparents and I always enjoyed their company at family events. Uncle Bill always called my Crockett and I will miss not hearing that from him. Uncle Bill will be missed. My condolences to your family.
