I have know George and Shirley since the early 1960's. They were great friends of Bruce and I. My condolences to Shirley and the rest of the family. George will be truly missed.

Just learned this news. So sad. George was a friend of my Dad's and my family. I remember many wonderful times with him and Shirley and remember his daughters. I remember many times snow and water skiing with him. I greatly liked him.

George and Shirley were a beautiful couple who have a beautiful home on Katie lake and we I would often see him on his beautiful party barge and he was the most delightful pleasant and kind man and I was just grateful to know him. My heart fell condolences to Debbie his daughter. I know Bridgette his daughter And MARK and the rest of the Oakley family for. I'm sure that as you are aware, you will miss him so much because he was the light and he will be a light in heaven.
