Vincent 'Jimmy' Bossio LAWRENCEVILLE Vincent "Jimmy" Bossio, 92, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Conzenza Calabria, Italy, Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. He was a veteran of World War II, having proudly served his country with the US Army. Jimmy retired from DeLaval, where he was employed as a millwright for many years. He was a parishioner and an usher at The Church of St. Ann and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7000. Jimmy enjoyed playing bocce, taking care of his vegetable garden, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, adoring great-grandfather, brother, friend and will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Son of the late Ventura and Carolina Bossio, he is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Emma Veltri Bossio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Sandra Bossio and Alfred G. and Mary Bossio; his daughter, Mary Ann Bossio; four grandchildren, Michael Bossio (Tracy), Michelle Zimmaro (Robert), Daniel Bossio, Diana Stahl (Michael); five great-grandchildren, Ava and Brynn Bossio, Robert and Vincent Zimmaro, and Spencer Stahl; his brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Nicolina Bossio; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
