Larry is my brother, He was a soft spoken man. He could get loud but very rarely. He was a kind brother. He had 6 sisters and was the king of our family. Anyone who knew him loved him. Rest in peace brother Mom is there. Love you Judy and Wanda

I started my career at Pony Express with Larry. He ruined all other plant managers forever because there will never be anyone who can even come close. The school was always sparkling and you could see the level of care and attention he gave to everything he touched. It was not just a job - he was taking care of his home and family. As a new teacher, I always appreciated his support. He could look gruff and serious - but everyone knew it was because he loved the school and wanted it to shine. Once you got to know him (or rather he got to know you) there was a huge smile under the tough exterior. I am still at Pony and just a couple weeks ago was talking to someone about how we would never have another Larry.

Awe I remember Larry well not only from Pony Express but he was also the custodian at Bowling Green School when I was a kid. When I first starting working at Pony Epress he was the Plant Manager. I ran up to him. I recognize him right away. I asked him do you remember me? You worked at the elementary school I went to. Then I said am 29 now. He laughed and said yeah and thanks for the age reminder lol .I believe that was in 1999 when I started at Pony. He was a very nice man. He had stunning blue eyes that sparkled. He will be missed!
