Robert Archie Obituary
An attendee of Dunbar High School in East Spencer, he later earned certification from MTA Trucking School in 1989. He worked as a security guard at Hood Theological Seminary and Livingstone College and as a water maintenance specialist for the Town of East Spencer.
A faithful member of Higher Grounds Christian Ministries, International, Robert served as a Senior Evangelist, sharing his deep love for the Lord. He was a devoted husband to Carolyn Koontz Archie and a cherished father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother, three sons, and several siblings. Left to honor his memory are his wife, Carolyn Archie, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Arrangements: On Monday, February 17, 2025, the Public Walk-Thru will be held from 3pm to 5pm. Services will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 with Visitation at 12:30pm and Funeral at 1pm. Public Walk Thru and Services will be held in the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at City Memorial Park. Pastor David Whitaker, Eulogist.
