Jenny Lynn Mayhew Wally, 82, of Mooresville, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville. Born January 20, 1935, in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Newton J. and Mary Hawks Mayhew. Jenny loved her family. She had a green thumb when it came to growing plants which she loved and enjoyed. Jenny is survived by her sons, Tony Wally, of Kannapolis, Terry Wally (Robin), and Tim Wally, both of Mooresville; grandchildren, Mark Wally (Crystal), Matt Wally, Jonathan Wally, Amy Wally, Brooke DePinto (Chris) and Brittany Wally and great granddaughter, Makinlee. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the family of Mrs. Wally. Condolences may be made to the Wally family at www.cavin-cook.com.
