Diane Dickens
Waterbury – Diane L. (Yenkelun) Dickens, age 58, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2025 at her home.
Diane was born August 11, 1967 in Waterbury daughter of the late Vincent and Ann (Anderson) Yenkelun. She worked as a Home Health Aide and loved being a Mom, spending time with her sons and grandchildren, enjoyed football and was an avid New York Giants fan.
Diane is survived by her sons: Mark Cummings ( Ashlei) of Waterbury, Sean Yenkelun (Nicole Duprey) of Middlebury and Joseph Yenkelun (Chade Jones) of Waterbury, her sisters: Lori Yenkelun, Joann Yenkelun and Karen Yenkelun, her brothers: Ernie Yenkelun and Jeff Yenkelun and her grandchildren: Christian Jones, Dior Jones, Avianna Cummings, Jacob Perez, Tessa Duprey, Makayla Meserole, Ja'Liyah Yenkelun and Ja'Zair Yenkelun. She was predeceased by her brothers: Todd Yenkelun and Vincent Yenkelun.
Funeral services for Diane will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Refugee Church of Christ 15 Hawkins Street Waterbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Community Funeral Home, The Corona Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 72 Waterbury Road Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
