Beverly Jean Williamson, age 93, of Rock Falls, died Monday, July 7, 2025 at Citadel of Sterling.
Beverly was born December 21, 1931 in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Charles and Leola (Sivits) Hains. She married Wayne Williamson on June 18, 1950 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2017. Beverly was a loving and devoted homemaker and was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling.
She is survived by her daughter, Jill Leesman of Rock Falls; two sons, Bruce Williamson of Chicago and Lance (Christy) Williamson of Laramie, WY; one sister, Ruth Dietz of Sterling; one brother-in-law, Travis Watters of Bettendorf; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Richard Hains; one sister, Carolyn Watters; one son-in-law, Greg Leesman; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Hains and Lois Williamson; and two brothers-in-law, DuWayne Dietz and Gene Williamson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jacob Gawlik officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
