Died: June 3, 2025 in Allen, TX
John "Jack" Buck age 63 of Allen, TX passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was born on July 21, 1961 in Dixon the son of Harold and Patricia "Pat" (Sharkey) Buck. He graduated from Franklin Center High School in 1979 and Illinois State University in 1983. He moved to Texas after graduating from college. Jack worked for Dumont Management for 39 years. He was a Cubs and Texas Rangers fan. He also enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing. Jack will be remembered as being so quietly kind and generous to all without ever wanting any acknowledgement. His sarcastic humor and his nervous laugh will be missed by all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his sister Annette (Dan) Dempsey of Sachse TX, niece and nephew Katie (Cameron) Clark, Danny (Jacki) Dempsey, great nieces and nephew Kaiya Clark, Keaton Dempsey, Morgan Dempsey, Delaney Dempsey, and best friend Bill (Andrea) Nemecek. Cremation rites have been accorded with no services planned at this time. Memorials are being made to the City of Allen Fire Department and Police Department. Worked with Jack for 17 years. He always had a smile. He loved his cars and we would talk about them, many times , instead of work. Jack was truly one of the good guys
