Born: August 2, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois
Died: July 1, 2025 in Morrison, Illinois
Vernon "Bud" Rosene, 78, died Tuesday July 1, 2025, at Highlight Nursing Home, Morrison, Illinois. He was born August 2, 1946, in Chicago, the son of Vernon Charles and Elizabeth (Loeschen) Rosene. He married Joan Steger on June 25, 2003, in Wheaton, Illinois. Joan preceded him in death on June 15, 2018.
Vernon loved classic cars and car shows, fishing and being on the river. He loved all his family.
Survivors include his son, Brian Rosene, grandson, Christopher Rosene of Golden Valley, AZ; stepdaughter, Dawn Klessman of Lockport; two stepsons, Roy (Cynthia) Dodge of Lisle and Rick (Sherrylee) Dodge of Celena, TX; several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Rosene Sr. and Elizabeth (Betty) Loeschen Rosene, his son, Sean Rosene, stepdaughter, Sharon Dodge and his sister, Verne Ann Swintek.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be at a later date, with his wife.
A memorial has been established.
