Ann Pasini Obituary

Ann Edwards Pasini, 93 of La Plata, MD, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 12, 1931, in Culpeper County, VA, to Helen (McGhee) and Milton Jackson Edwards, Ann's life was a testament to love. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Ann's career as a civil servant, including her last position as an Inspector General for the United States Army was marked by her integrity and commitment, but her true passion was her family. After retiring in 1992, she devoted herself to her grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories. Ann's love for bird watching, especially hummingbirds, her joy in basking in the sun, and her delight in talking with family and friends were simple pleasures that brought her immense happiness.

Travel was another of Ann's great loves. She reveled in her retirement trips to Italy and Israel, and as a military wife she embraced the adventure of living in Germany, where she welcomed two of her children. Her travels took her to many parts of the world, but it was her family that remained her greatest joy.

Ann was an active member of the First Baptist Church of La Plata. Her involvement in the Women on a Mission group was a reflection of her generous spirit and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Junior Pasini and sister, Barbara Gibson, Ann leaves behind a legacy of love. She is survived by her children: Phil Pasini and his wife Lisa; Rebecca Pasini and her husband Langdon Healy; and Stephanie Weakley and her husband Robert "Bob." Her grandchildren Victoria Peele and her husband Luke, Paul Pasini and his wife Jordan, Taylor Leeper and her husband William, Erin Gustafsson and her husband John, Tayler Woods, Anne Healy, Robert Healy, Ronald Hawkins, and Charles Weakley along with her great-grandchildren, Grant Pasini, Ellie Leeper, and Matthew Hawkins will hold her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. A graveside Service will follow at around 1:30PM at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, 28348 Eleys Ford Road, Richardsville, VA 22736.
