Bonnie Montgomery Crawford Funeral Service Broadcast

Bonnie Montgomery Crawford, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her daughter’s residence on Monday, October 1, 2024. Bonnie was born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on December 16, 1936. At 19, she met and married Robert Crawford. They traveled extensively with the Air Force. At their last duty station, Bonnie entered and completed a dental assistant certification program. She worked for 20 years at the University of Kentucky adult dentistry program, serving as the head dental assistant. After retiring, she worked the following 15 years as a dental assistant for Dr. Donald Collins. Bonnie was a member of Ninevah Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, where she participated in the 55 Plus Club.

Bonnie carried the burden of Vascular Dementia gracefully, being upbeat, cheerful, and as independent as possible. She enjoyed being a Heritage Hall resident for 4 years. In 2020, she moved home to be part of her daughter’s family. We are forever grateful for the past 4 years of good health and high quality. Only this last week saw us overwhelmed with a hip fracture, marked decrease in mentation, and much suffering— with pain and inability to speak or swallow.
