James BEACH Obituary

James Lee Beach, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025, at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, WA. He was 72 years old.

Jim leaves behind his devoted wife of 35 years, Gretchen, who was the love of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Beach; children, Tanya Beach/Derrick Green, Matthew (Kathryn) Beach; his cherished grandchildren, Gavin and Finley Beach; and step-granddaughter, Sierra Green. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Peggy Jo Comack, Michelle Beach, Debbie Beach/Ron Bryngelson; his brother, David (Sandi) Beach; and Aunt Jackie Beach; as well as countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jim was a man with an infectious sense of humor that could light up any room. Whether sharing a joke, telling a story, or simply offering a smile, he had a gift for making everyone around him laugh and feel at ease. His love for life was evident in everything he did, from his deep connection to the outdoors as an avid hunter to his passion for cars and camping. Above all, Jim loved spending time with his family, where his greatest joy was simply being together.

Jim's legacy will live on in the many lives he touched. He was a kind, loving, and loyal man who will forever be remembered for his generosity, his laughter, and his unwavering love for his family. While he may no longer be with us, his spirit and warmth will remain in our hearts always.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim's honor to a charity of your choice.
