Jennifer SCOTT Obituary

Spokane - Our beloved sister, friend, and mother Jennifer Marie Scott is with the Lord as of February 16, 2024. Born in Seattle, WA, to John and Frankie Scott, November 28, 1947. The family moved to Spokane when Jennifer was two. Jennifer attended parochial schools, and then public schools. Jennifer worked in the food service industry while attending Kinman Business University. She then began her career in the mortgage industry. Jennifer moved to Minneapolis with her two sons, Shaen Smith, and Jason Keeling. She rose to Vice President in the mortgage business swiftly. Returning to Spokane in 2002, she continued her career in underwriting until retirement. Jennifer loved reading and belonged to a book club. She enjoyed classic car shows, decorating, remodeling, entertaining, and being entertained! Her favorite team was the GU "Go Dawgs" basketball team. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She supported the YWCA Battered Women's Shelter in Spokane. Jennifer is survived by two sons, Shaen and Jason; granddaughter, Melanie; two great-grandchildren, brothers, Sandy, Richard, and David; and a sister, Felicity. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Christopher.  Memorial Services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division Street, Spokane, WA 99207, on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
