Richard GERTLAR Obituary
Spokane - Rick passed on January 28th, 2025, in Spokane. He was born March 30th, 1956, in San Francisco to LaVern and Betty Ann, who then moved to Spokane until 1970. After a couple years in southern California and they moved to the Seattle area where Rick graduated from Juanita High School. Again, he moved to California where his daughter, Brooke, was born in 1979, and where he proudly worked for a state hospital for many years. He spent the last 30 years in the Seattle area developing many friendships. In July, Rick moved back to Spokane with his dad and brothers where they all spent their childhood years. Rick was predeceased by his mom, Betty Ann and is survived by his daughter, Brooke Gertlar; dad, LaVern and brothers, Ken and Dave.
Services 1pm Wednesday, February 12th in Spokane, Heritage Funeral Home, interment 2pm Greenwood Memorial Terrace
