Patrick Redmond Obituary

Patrick Cooper Redmond (56) passed away on December 22, 2025 at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. He was born on November 1st, 1969 to the late William Francis Redmond and the late Elizabeth Walsh Redmond. Pat grew up at the Carousel Riding Stables, now named Carousel Park & Equestrian Center. He loved riding horses and won numerous awards in shows. His family moved to Trappe, Maryland when he was in middle school. After graduating from Easton High School in 1987, Pat began working at United Shellfish Company in Grasonville. He was a highly respected salesman there for 37 years. Many of his customers became cherished friends. In 1990, he married Susan Frailer Redmond and they settled in Trappe, Maryland where they raised their children. He loved his family, hunting, fishing. and farming part-time. Patrick is survived by his wife, Susan Redmond of Trappe, MD, son Daniel Redmond of Denton, MD, daughter Jessica Redmond of Trappe, MD and siblings Christopher Redmond of Easton, MD, William Redmond Jr. and his wife Joanna of Easton, MD and Timothy Redmond of Trappe, MD as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and his closest friends, John and Johnny Foster. An open house celebration of Pat's life will be held on Sunday, January 25th, 2026 at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in Grasonville, MD from 10:00-2:00.
