I met "Donnie" in 1971 when I started to date my future husband John Winkelmann. John's mom ,Flora, adored Donnie and liked to make him laugh. I went with the Winkelmanns to a gathering at Don and Pats. They were the first people I knew that owned horses. Since John, Dennis, and Donnie are all with our Lord now there is no one to tell the emabarassing story from Carolynne's wedding. I openned my hotel door when someone knocked and said ."It's me." I thought it was John and I was not dressed. It was a giggling Dennis and Don. Welcome to the family Mary. I am very sad to hear the passing of Don. He was a good guy. I have not seen Don or Pat since Johnny's death in 2002. Blessings to all. God's Peace.
