Michael Paradise Obituary

Michael Anthony Paradise passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born on December 10, 1952, in Bay City, Michigan.
Michael is survived by his sister, Mary Paradise of Washington, DC, and his great-grandson, Triston Kitchens of Abilene, Texas.
He lived a full and storied life, beginning in Michigan before moving to Colorado and eventually settling in Arizona in the 1980s. Michael built a rewarding career in the hospitality industry, holding various roles in hotels, catering establishments, and restaurant management throughout the Phoenix area. Even after retirement, his strong work ethic and love of people led him to continue working as a checker at Albertson's, to stay active and connected with others.
Michael loved the outdoors-fishing, hunting, and camping at local lakes were among his favorite pastimes in his younger years. His love of disc golf had him on the greens every weekend for many years. He had an exceptional green thumb and could grow nearly any plant or flower with ease. In his later years, he found joy in living close to dear friends and staying in touch with his high school classmates, cherishing the lifelong connections they shared.
He was known for his great belly laugh, and you could always find him in a crowd by calling out "PARADISE!" in a goofy French accent. Michael never missed a chance to have fun, lend a hand to others, or sit down for a good game of cards- especially Euchre or Cribbage. A true food lover and talented cook, he often turned his front patio into his own little café, affectionately known as Pepe's, where friends gathered to share meals, laughter, and wine.
Friends and family will deeply miss him.

I had a conversation with Mike Thursday evening. He was his happy self as usual remembering the good times growing up in Essexville even though we lived about 20 minutes apart we didn´t see one another very often, but we talked once sometimes twice a week he was near and dear to my heart, and I will miss him terribly
