I remember Aunt 'Cookie, from her being godmother to my sister Fran to her visits around Xmas time. She would come over in the mid 1960s right before Christmas Eve and my dad would have e the record player with a variety of 78s and 45' on .It was a good time when she came and seemed full of energy. That is the memory I take with me and is a gift. The day she got married in 1968 was a joyous day all around . It was a time for family memories in a simpler time for me. I wish her joy reuniting with her parents and my mom and her brother Vincent in a better world.
