Roger Purdes Obituary
Roger Purdes passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at he age of 80.
Roger was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 25, 1944, to Stephen and Valeria Purdes. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Valeria, brother Robert and son Jason. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Purdes, Son Robin, his wife, Betty and Paislee (Poppy). 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Roger worked for the Bell Telephone Company, later by AT&T. He retired after 30 years of working in Minneapolis, Northern Minnesota, and Southeastern Texas.
Roger loved to visit with friends and family, go camping, fishing, hunting and smoke various types of meat. He loved to have his "Toddy time" with his neighbors.
Roger and Patricia retired to Hampstead, NC. They would spend the winter months in Zephyrhills, FL, and permanently moved to Punta Gorda, FL in 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 28, 2025 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, FL.
