George Chizak Obituary
Born Sept. 27, 1938, in New York City, he was a son of Katherine Markcity Chizak of Long Island, N.Y., and the late George P. Chizak.
Mr. Chizak was an Air Force veteran who was stationed for a time in Korea.
He was a retired electrical engineer for Erie Electronics in Carlisle.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Marina Silva Chizak; a son, George K. Chizak of Herndon, Va.; a daughter, Sharon Viton of Hocassin, Del.; a sister, Lois Chizak of Long Island, N.Y.; and a brother, Lawrence Chizak of Queens, N.Y.
Services will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. in Egger Funeral Home, 15 Big Spring Ave., Newville. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
