Brenda Pearson Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Lorrayne Pearson, a beloved wife, mother, and friend. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on Thursday, April 9th, 1959, Brenda peacefully passed away on Monday, July 7th, 2025, in her home in Pasadena, MD, a community she cherished since making it her home in 1998. Brenda was a devoted and loving wife to David R. Pearson, her steadfast partner for 37 years. She was the cherished mother of Brittany Hope Jester Wright, along with her husband Chris, and Nicholas Kyle Pearson, along with his wife Angela. Brenda's legacy of love and warmth extended to her adored grandsons, Cody James Pearson and Oliver Chase Pearson, who brought immense joy to her life. Brenda's family was her pride and joy, and she is also survived by her brothers, Larry Wiseman and Bob Wiseman, her sisters, Sharon Lynch and Loretta Stewart, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Brenda is predeceased by her father Kenneth Carr Wiseman and mother Helen Katherin Wiseman, as well as her brother Tom Wiseman and sisters Donna Wilson and Dianne Kerns, all of whom she carried in her heart. A proud alumna of Parkersburg High School, class of 1977, Brenda was a dedicated businesswoman. She was employed by Himmel's Garden Center for many years before embarking on a fulfilling venture with her dear friend Dotti Snyder, co-founding Nature's Care Takers. Brenda's passion for community involvement was evident through her active participation in the Friends of Down's Park and the Pasadena Business Association. Her enthusiasm for gardening and caring for animals, especially her beloved squirrels, defined her as a nurturing soul. Her garden was her happy place. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Stallings Funeral Home where services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment immediately following at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda's memory can be made to Friends of Down's Park 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena, MD 21122 or an animal rescue organization of your choice, honoring her love for both nature and community. Brenda's life was a testament to love, kindness, and boundless generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

My vivid memories of Brenda are of her consistent kindness's as a friend and mother to Nick and Brittany which extended to any children that she welcomed into her home. Her desire to make sure "all" the kids had fun and felt loved was apparent. May her memory be eternal in all the friends and family she touched.
