Curt Floyd, life-long resident of Conway, Arkansas, was called home by his Lord June 27, 2025. He was born June 11, 1953, in Conway, a son of Neil S. and Madge Ethridge Floyd, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Jones Floyd; daughters, Ashley Clay (Josh) and Lindsey Floyd; sons, Eric Floyd and Greg Floyd; brother, Rex Floyd (Jimmy); stepmother, Suzann Talbot Floyd; and grandsons C. J. Floyd, Dawson Floyd, Hunter Clay and Barak Clay, who all called him "Papaw."
Curt was a Conway High School graduate, earned a business degree from the University of Central Arkansas, had a 45-year-long banking career, and retired from Centennial Bank in 2016. During his working life, he was treasurer of the Salvation Army, a Toad Suck Daze volunteer and a member of Kiwanis, Ducks Unlimited and the Wild Turkey Federation. He attended New Life Church in Conway.
Hobbies that Curt enjoyed included Bible study, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, family activities, hunting, fishing and watching college football.
According to Curt's wishes, his family held a private graveside service on July 2 at Crestlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.

Curt was a good friend to both my parents for many years. He was there for my dad and me at mom's funeral. Unfortunately he himself was too sick to be there there for dad in his illness and attend his funeral. But I know he was praying. He told each of us he loved us every time he saw us.

I´ve know Curt and his family for a very long time. Curt wasn´t afraid to share his Love for the Lord with anyone who would listen or walk into his office or on the street. I loved that about him, unashamed. The example we all should set. I know he´s missed and I send my prayers for his family. God Bless them in this very hard time.

So sorry for your loss. Glad he is pain free and walking with his Lord.
He was my first car date to Little Rock to see Chicago when we were barely 16. He was a very special friend. Love and miss him.

Curt and Shirley were a very special part of my childhood and early marriage days. I am so sorry for the family´s heartbreak. It makes me smile to think of my dad getting to reconnect with Curt in heaven. Love to you all. Blessings in the beautiful name of Jesus. Christina (Snow) Grace
