I don´t know where to begin... you´ve been in my life since I was 11 years old. I remember the first time you drove up in your beautiful shiny black SS super sport car , you were dating my big sister Sherri.. she says I came running in bragging about the beautiful car, at that time I had no idea how significant you would be in my life. In 1968 you married my sister Sherri went on to have five beautiful children with her and a marriage lasted many years. In the summer of 1970, we were all together at my daddy`s house in Springville, California ..you with your sweet wife, Sherri and your newborn baby Traci and your two year-old Michelle. We all had such a wonderful time that summer and when it was time to go back to San Diego so I could continue to live with my mom again I didn´t really wanna go. Things had been rough with her and I relationship and I wanted to stay where everything was happy and fun with you and Sherri. I remember eating sunflower seeds with you ..and your often called your loved ones "Nupchi" at that time (which I think is an Indian word for a loved ones). I eventually stayed in Springville and within2 months talked my dad into letting me live with you and Sherri. From the moment I moved in you and Sherri made me feel so much a part of the family, I had my own room ...you bought me my first car and made my teen years stable and good. When I was 22 in San Diego with a new baby and no vehicle you sent one down for me because you knew I didn´t have a car.. through the years you´ve been a wonderful friend and been so good to my own children. There´s so many more instances I could say of your goodness to me. Suffice it to say you were a good man, wonderful father ,very hard worker ,a very good uncle and we all will miss you so very much. I´m so happy that you´re not struggling to breathe anymore and the you are with our Savior in a wonderful place. You sooooooo deserve that. "God be with you till we meet again"

Love you Uncle Steve. I can still hear the way you say "hello" when you answer the telephone. You are more like a second Father to me than an Uncle. I wish you´d been able to make it up to Portland to go to that classic car swap meet we always talked about. I´ll always think of you when I eat anything blackberry your favorite pie. I know your soul is free from that body that had aged and that you are at peace. It´s those of us on earth that miss you so much. Love you always Leslie, Robby, Hunter, Isabelle & Kali´a
