JOSEPH GADOMSKI Obituary
JOSEPH GADOMSKI
Clinton - Joseph F. Gadomski, 88, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Oakdale Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston. Joe is predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia A. (Ball) Gadomski and their infant son, Joseph. He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Schmidt, Diane Trinque and husband David, and Kathleen Gadomski and wife Shelley McClellan; his sister Carol (Gilmore) Sultan; two grandsons, Bryan Trinque and wife Meredyth, and Jeffrey Trinque and wife Erica; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden, Livia, and Aubree Trinque; generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Pearl (Stone) Gadomski, and brother, Francis "Babe" Gadomski.
Joe was born, raised, and educated in Clinton and was a member of Clinton High School, class of 1954, where he excelled as a student athlete, playing on the varsity football and baseball teams. Joe spent his professional career in the printing trade, working for Colonial Press until its closing, later with Digital Equipment Company, and simultaneously as a call firefighter for the Town of Clinton. After retiring, Joe worked as a groundskeeper for the International Golf Course. A lifelong Clintonian, he was a longtime member of PAV and Clinton Elks Lodge. He volunteered as a Lassie League umpire, competed in Thursday night golf leagues, and played in several pitch and cribbage leagues with friends. Joe was a life member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish and often assisted with the Sunday collection baskets at Mass. He was a faithful fan of the Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics, and most of all, the Clinton Gaels, always cheering proudly from the stands for his daughters, grandchildren, and alma mater. Among his many pleasures, Joe also enjoyed family vacations to Hampton Beach and listening to his Frank Sinatra and big band records on Sunday mornings. He will be forever missed and remembered lovingly as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. The Gadomski family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Oakdale Nursing Center and JHC-Hospice Team for the care and compassion provided to Joe throughout his residency.
Per Joe's wishes, there are no calling hours. Friends and relatives were welcome to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at St. John's Cemetery, Parker Rd., Lancaster.
