Dolores Kennedy Obituary

Dolores Mae Kennedy, age 89 of Lake Odessa passed away February 1, 2025. She was born June 9, 1935, in Lansing, the daughter of Dayton and Della (Merchant) Paul. Dolores married Clarence A. Kennedy June 20, 1953; he preceded her in death April 11, 1997.
She was a member of the Woodland Eagles Auxiliary 3782, since December 17, 1978, and a member of the Lake Odessa VFW. Dolores loved Diamond Painting, Cross Stitch, Bingo and Camping.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Cross of Lake Odessa, Patrick (Amy) Kennedy of Caledonia, Joleen Judkins of Lake Odessa, Timothy Kennedy of Lake Odessa, John (Carrie) Kennedy of Woodland, Kelli (Brent) Gauld of Belding and Carrie (Chris) Feneis of Sunfield. Sister, Sandra (Ronald) Sinke of Leslie. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Besties, Betty Carpenter and Eraina Young. Several nieces and nephews and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Colleen "Neen" Kennedy and Loreen Quillan. Granddaughter, Raschelle Rutledge. Brother Parnell "Red" Paul and son-in-law Leonard Cross.
Funeral Services for Dolores will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Jensen officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Dolores's family.
