Patsy Holley-Hylton Obituary

Patsy Holley-Hylton

August 22, 1950 - June 27, 2025

It is with heavy hearts of family to announce that Patsy Holley-Hylton of Ridgeway went peacefully to be with Jesus on the morning of June 27, 2025. Patsy spent her life selflessly loving, serving, and giving to her many family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John David (J.D.) Hylton; her father, James Edgar Holley; mother, Doris Hylton Holley; two brothers, James (J.B.) Holley and Lonnie Holley; sister, Roma Carter; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Cobler.

She is survived by four sons, Terry Peters of Roanoke, Samuel Peters of Roanoke, Daniel Hylton (Tracy) of Drakes Branch, Justin Hylton (Jessica) of Basset; stepmother, Faye Holley; two brothers, Rocky Holley (Gail) of Henry, and Johnny Holley of Ferrum; and two sisters, Brenda Hale of Ferrum and Deborah (Deb) Cobler of Collinsville; two sisters-in-law, Ramona Holley and Patricia Holley; as well as numerous grandchildren, including a granddaughter of the home, Savannah Hylton; great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Patsy was raised to cherish family and held on to those values until her last breath. She loved unconditionally and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or God's Pit Crew in her honor.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers go out to each and everyone of their family members. I know she will be missed. She was a very good person. All the years ago we grew up just a few minutes away when we were kids. We had big family to. Rode bus together.
