Pauline Zambito Obituary
Pauline "Polly" P. Zambito, 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 23, 1931, to Fred and Mary Papia in Tampa, where she attended Jefferson High School and the University of Tampa. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart, Nelson P. Zambito, to whom she was married for 70 years. They resided in Lutz, where they raised their family. She is survived by her sister, Mary Teresa Papia Timmons; children, Nelson A. Zambito (fiancé Mica), Andrea Zambito Molony (Dan), Dorene Zambito, Jenifer Zambito Prado (JC), Stephen Zambito (Anna); 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; nephew, Harry P. Timmons Jr.; and niece, Lisa Timmons. A funeral mass will be held Friday, September 19, at 11 am, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz, followed by a reception in the parish hall for all who would like to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
