Daniel Johnson Obituary

Daniel Earl Johnson, 65, Monon, passed away on July 23, 2024.

He was born on June 14, 1959.

Daniel lived in White County most of his life. He served in the Army as a cook from 1977 - 1981. Daniel worked at Jordan Manufacturing in Monticello for several years.

Daniel leaves behind his children, Amanda (Jason) Sheppard, Texas, Connie Carver, Louisiana, and son, Daniel Jr., Louisiana. He had nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Left behind also are a sister, Evelyn Fields, Peru; a brother, Bert (Karen) Johnson, Buffalo; and a sister, Elveree Pearl Hainje, Peru. Also left behind are several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ray A. Johnson and Mary Ann (White) Gruenberg. Also preceded in death by a half-brother, William Ray Johnson; half-sisters, Cora Sue Huffman, Connie Jean Johnson, Linda Diane Austin; half-brother, Larry Wayne Kinser; half-sister, Gloria Jane Winger; and a brother, James Loyd Johnson.

There will not be a funeral service or memorial service, only a direct cremation.
