Albert Peters Obituary
A native of Washington County, he was born August 22, 1948, to the late Ernest and Evelyn Chesser Peters.
He was a member of the Lawrenceburg United Pentecostal Church and a retired employee of Armour Packing Company in Louisville and McDonald's of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Corine Boblitt Peters on September 22, 2013, his daughter, Melinda Suzanne Peters Coleman on October 11, 2023, and two brothers, Tommy Peters on April 11, 2013, and Bill Peters on September 16, 2016.
Survivors include a son Steven Peters (Toree) of Springfield; a daughter, Lisa Peters Land of Willisburg; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a brother, Joe Peters (Marilyn) of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Seidenfaden, officiating.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Isaiah Coleman, Alley Peters, Elizabeth Peters, Jimmy Peters and Phillip Peters.
Serving as pallbearers were Steven Peters, Steven Daniel Peters, Kellee Peters, Connor Peters, Anthony Peters and Michael Harley.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
