Robert William "Bob" Ross, 64, of Plains Twp. passed away on Friday, April 12, at Allied Services Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Herman Ross Jr. and Jeanette (Gill) Ross Rudd. Bob graduated from Abington Heights School District in 1979 and worked as a dishwasher at Valentino's Restaurant.
Bob was an avid Eagles fan and he loved to pitch horseshoes with his buddy Art. His sense of humor was unmatched and he always had a joke ready no matter the situation. During Christmas, Bob could be found giving back to his community by volunteering as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army.
Bob is survived by his sister, Debbie Waldron; his nieces and nephews, Felicity VanLeuvan and her husband Mike, Kathleen Banks and her companion Brian, Jessica Banks and her companion Ed, Jonathan Banks and his wife Jessica, Nicole Banks and her companion Casey, and Stacey Waldron and her companion Aaron; his stepdaughters, Pamela Manzer and Judy Thomas; his companion, Tammy Campanaro; his 14 grandchildren and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Ross.
Arrangements will be private and are entrusted to Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services LLC in Spring Brook Twp.
