Dear Carol and family, it was a shock to read of Jim's passing. He was always a man of wisdom and offered not only his deep understanding of issues but did so with a sense of humor that put them in perspective. He was my historian, mentor and a man I respected deeply. "Call Jim" sits on my to do list as I write. That will not happen but the guidance and wonderful memories of coffee and conversation will remain for me.
Carol, you gave him the runway that let him soar in times of joy and land safely in "difficult weather". Thank you for sharing this special man with us.
You and your family in are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Carol and the Angelo Family,
I was so sorry to learn of your loss of Jim. It seems that it was just a few days ago that I read something he wrote for the editorial page of the Sun. He was one smart guy and taking the time to express his opinion was to me an honorable thing to do!
Carol, please accept my sincerest sympathy in your loss. Let your memories comfort and console you until you meet again.
