Martha Gray

June 3, 1936 - June 20, 2025

Our beloved mother, Martha P. Gray, 89, of Goochland, Va., passed away on June 20, 2025. She was a devoted mom who loved her family and friends dearly and was a true inspiration to all.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stuart Parrish, Sr.; her second husband, Peter Gray; and son-in-law, Kevin Barton.

She is survived by her children, Stuart Parrish, Jr. (Cheryl), Faye Barton, Chris Strack (Bobby), and Linda Hockaday (Russell); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one surviving sister, Shirley Callahan.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, Glen Allen. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hadensville Fire and Rescue Department.
