July 13, 1939 - June 23, 2025
Rebecca Allen Beauchamp, 85, of Ashland, Virginia, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Janie Headley Beauchamp; her sisters, Helen B. Lane, Violet B. Fisher, Dora B. Dunaway, Fairy Lee B. Headley, Ethel B. Bush, Florence B. Swann, Jean B. Brooke, and Elsie B. Cornwell; her brothers, James Franklin Beauchamp, James Allen Beauchamp, and infant boy Beauchamp.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Becky was a member of the first graduating class at Northumberland High School in 1957, and continued her education at the Johnston-Willis Hospital School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse in 1960. She was gifted with a caring nature and enjoyed a long nursing career with the medical department at DuPont in Richmond, Virginia.
Becky loved spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors. In younger days, she often went horseback and motorcycle riding with her sister Jean. Becky enjoyed working in her yard and maintained a second home in Northumberland County.
Becky cherished her family, her DuPont colleagues and lifelong friends, regularly attending class reunions for high school and nursing school.
A reception/luncheon and visitation with family will be held beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Henderson United Methodist Church in Callao, Virginia, followed at 3 p.m. by a celebration of her life in the Sanctuary and after the service, interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, via stjude.org.

I am so sorry to hear of Becky´s passing. She was a wonderful, caring person and nurse. I enjoyed working with her in DuPont´s medical department. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family.
