I always considered Bob Smith to be one of the kindest gentleman I knew. He had an easy smile and a gentle manner about him . He and his beautiful wife, Sharon, were an integral part of a circle of friends we called "The Group" who gathered regularly at each others' homes to catch up on "news of the day" and then go out to celebrate our enduring frienships at a local restaurant. Time is steadily taking a bit of a toll on some of us, but the memories of these wonderful friendships, punctuated with much laughter, will remain always.
Bob was very talented with his woodworking skills and shared the fruits of his labors with his friends and I think most of us have a few of his treasures to hold onto. Bob, you will be missed so much.

Grandpa.. its your grandson Benjamin. I keep just randomly breaking down over the thought of you not being with us anymore..I know during my life we only saw each other mainly on Christmas eve when you and Grandma would come to our house on 2nd avenue to play pass the crap
As I reminisce I keep thinking about how excited I'd be on the days leading up to Christmas eve just anticipating you and Grandma coming over. My memory of my childhood is foggy but those memories are clear as day... I wish I had came to see you more. I will see you again some day Grandpa, I love you and you'll forever be in my heart. Thank you for being you.

Bob was our Brother-in-law. We spent so much time with him, trips, lots of card games, boating, cigars and bike rides with Joe and happy hours! I loved how he called me "Kid" and I called him Dada and Bobber (because of his love for fishing) we are going to miss him so much

Bob Smith was my grandfather. Sharon Smith is my biological grandmother, Bob was my father's stepdad but the only grandfather I ever knew on my dad's side. He always had a smile on his face, always made you feel comfortable and I will miss him very much. I love you Grandpa Bob. Thank you for being here while you were, rest in peace. Love your grandson, Benjamin.
