Kathy Peck Bridges Obituary

Kathy Peck Bridges, 77, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 22, 2025, at The Maples in Springdale, Arkansas.   She was born March 1, 1948, in Ottawa County, Michigan to Fred Clarence Peck and Helen Novieta King Peck.  

She graduated from Tennessee Temple College with a degree in Elementary Education and taught first and second grade until she met and married, Sammy Austin Bridges on July 5th, 1975.   They moved several times with Sam’s career before retiring in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Kathy loved the Lord Jesus and was a faithful member of Peaceful Valley Bible Church in Springdale, Arkansas.  She had a loving heart and “the gift of giving.”  She was a magnet for children and an encourager to others.   She loved music, doing solo’s and singing in the choir when the opportunity arose.   Her favorite songs were “Does Jesus Care” and “No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus.”

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred in 2009, her mother, Helen in 2012, and her only brother, Kenneth Peck in 2015.

Kathy is survived by her precious husband of 50 years, Sam Bridges; one nephew, Davy Bridges and wife Pam; two nieces, Heather Withington and husband, Holden, Kim Tanner and husband, Bill; four great nieces, Camille Leben and husband, Joshua, Audrey Marrs, Hazel Marrs, Mandy Margavio and husband, Christopher and one great nephew, Dexter Tanner.  She will also be missed by her church family and the many lives she touched throughout the years. 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 12 Noon until service time at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Pettigrew officiating.  Burial will follow at Bentonville Cemetery.
