Richard Wagner Obituary

Richard F. "Dick" Wagner, 96, of Murrysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, love, and cherished memories. Born in York, PA, he graduated from York High School before serving his country with honor in the U.S. Army. Dick devoted over five decades of his career to JCPenney, where he built lasting friendships and exemplified hard work and commitment. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emily Wagner, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Dick is survived by his children, Richard Wagner (Kathy), Stephanie Wagner, and Daniel Ciccotelli (Betty); as well as his grandchildren, Brenden and Alyssa Wagner, and Brian, Eric, and Danielle Ciccotelli, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Beyond his professional life, Dick found joy in the simple pleasures, especially golf photography, painting, and coin collecting, hobbies that brought him peace and happiness. His warmth, wisdom, and enduring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family is having a private memorial service celebrating his life at a later date. Care entrusted to BOYD HORROX GIVNISH FUNERAL HOME, of East Norriton.
