Kleo Brothers Obituary

Kleo M. Brothers Jr., 74, of Apollo (Markle), PA, beloved father, grandfather, and uncle passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. Son of the late Kleo M. Brothers, Sr. and Leona (Ball) Brothers. Kleo (Bud) was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Punxsutawney, PA. Preceded in death by his brother, Harold Brothers; sisters, Mona Coy, Naomi Black, Bernice Lemmon, and Karen Brothers (infant). Bud worked at Hanson Aggregates for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting, riding quads, working with his hands, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Surviving family includes wife, Mandi Brothers; children, Cristine Illar (Peter), Gregory Brothers, Karen Gindlesperger (Craig), and Garrett Brothers; granddaughters, Daphne, Lydia, and Scarlett Gindlesperger; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was especially close with his niece, Margene Illar. Private services will be held, remembering Bud in the presence of his family.
