William Wagner Obituary

William E. "Bill" Wagner, 100, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, in Concordia Lutheran Health and Human Care, Cabot. He was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Elba, OH, to the late Clarence William and Edna Claire Wickens Wagner. Bill was a graduate of Ohio State University, receiving a degree in mechanical engineering, and was a veteran of the Army Air Force, serving during World War II. Employed for 40 years, he worked for Allegheny Ludlum as a mechanical engineer before retiring in 1991. Bill enjoyed dining at Massart's Restaurant in Tarentum, where he enjoyed his meals since coming to the area in 1951. He was also a daily visitor to the Donut Connection in Natrona Heights. Bill was an avid golfer and bowler, and after his retirement, he especially enjoyed taking pictures of his travels throughout the world. He will be missed by his many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Elizabeth Wagner. Bill is survived by his sister, Ann Clayton; and good friend, Joseph (Stella) Vertosick; friend from Massarts, Breanna Thompson; friends from Donut Connection, Sandy and Nick DeAngelis and Natalie Albaugh. All services were private. Private burial was in Shafers Church Cemetery, Macksburg, OH. www.cardarofuneralhome.com
