Linda Alderson Obituary

Linda Parke Alderson, 76, died on June 28, 2025, from injuries sustained in an auto accident on June 26th in Tucson, AZ. She was born on July 27, 1948 in Tuscola, IL, to Wayne Bolin Parke and Elizabeth (Burgener) Parke. They preceded her in death.

Linda graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Education, with additional studies in speech therapy and special education. She married Les Alderson in 1970. He survives of the home.

Linda was a passionate and dedicated professional who was dearly loved and celebrated by her students and colleagues. She had taught junior high school in California, elementary school in Colorado, and junior high science in Arizona, retiring from Flowing Wells School District in 2008.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Parke; a sister, April Parke; and a sister-in-law, Rebecca Parke. As well as her husband, she is survived by a brother, Stephen Parke, of Ft. Smith, AR; a sister, Kathryn Parke (Susan Marchant) of Pittsburg, KS; a niece, Laura Parke, and two great-nieces, Parker Grace and Elizabeth Brantmeier, of Lowell, AR.

A celebration of life will be held on Sept 5th at East Lawn Chapel, 5801 E. Grant Road in Tucson at 3:00 p.m.
