THOMAS WHITLEY Obituary

Thomas Whitley moved to Heaven on July 2, 2025, due to respiratory failure. A longtime resident of Ponderosa Hills, Tom enjoyed being surrounded by God's grand creation. He walked miles and miles a day in his younger years, which contributed to his long life of 87 years.
Tom was born in Los Angeles on Nov. 20, 1937, to Jack and Hazel Whitley. He moved with his parents to Tuolumne County in 1973. Tom loved Jesus, his family, his country, good food, National Geographic Magazine, music, animals and all God created.
The family would like to thank Pat and TY Atkins, Bill and Mary Lou Gerber and Nancy Vandermark Price for their many years of faithful care for Tom. We are very grateful that Tom was able to live out his days in his country home and now carries on in an even more wonderful place with Jesus his Savior.
He is survived by his many cousins. Tom left this world with gratitude and thankfulness in his heart!

I have fond memories of Tom. He always had a big beautiful smile for everyone. Saw him frequently walking everywhere. Offered Tom a ride every now & then, but he wanted to walk. Always enjoyed seeing him. Sending condolences to Tom's family.
