Charles Allen Obituary

Charles Lee Allen of Epping passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. He was 82 years old and the son of Ruth and Elton Allen.

Known to all as "Lee," he was a devoted and caring husband to his late wife, Jennie, and a man of deep faith who loved his church. Kind, honest, and thoughtful, he took great joy in helping those around him, always lending an ear and often being the first to visit or call someone in need. He was a loyal friend with a wide circle of loved ones and will be remembered for his generosity and steady presence.

Lee was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, serving his country as a member of the U.S. Army. A talented and skilled machinist, he possessed a remarkable engineering mind and could diagnose and fix just about anything.

The greatest joy of his life was his marriage to Jennie. Lee was devoted to his beloved "sweetheart". It was out of his devotion to Jennie that he became a master beekeeper - a labor of love that began as a way to care for her and grew into a quiet reflection of his dedication and unwavering love. They were meant to be together, and he carried her memory with him every day until they were reunited in eternity.

Lee will be sorely missed by his brothers, John and his wife Kathy, and David and his wife Jackie; his nieces, Carrie Lee Allen and Elizabeth Gunning; his nephew, Matthew Allen; and his stepdaughter, Mary Ann Wright.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Epping Community Church.

Online condolences may be expressed at www.brewittfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee's name to Epping Community Church or to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
